New Life Restoration Series #7 "Christianity, Judaism and Division"
As we approach the soon coming Rapture in these last days and as a Prophet of God, I have written this series to help us to make sure that we have no roots of Pagan Babylon in our beliefs. In the fourth century Constantine brought paganism into the church and wiped out anything that was Jewish from Christianity. There was a false Christianity that was developed that most of us came from. It wasn’t that paganism just crept in a little into the church; for the most part the church became assimilated into pagan beliefs. This Restoration series will also help us to get back to the Elohim (Yahweh) that created everything and demands that we put no idols or other gods between us and Him. The same Elohim that spoke from Mount Sinai is the same Elohim that came inside of Yahshua (Jesus). I pray that you study this series with an open mind and know that Yahweh wants us to worship no other gods and make sure that we have no pagan practices that we may be unaware of in our lives. We have to please the ONE and only True God or Yahweh. In this series we will go back to the beginning of Babylon and trace its roots right into the “Christianity” that Constantine of Rome started. We have to go back to our roots in Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through the Blood of Yahshua (Jesus). There are many blessings that are just waiting for as we go back and we need to receive our inheritance in Yahshua (Jesus). Because of pagan tradition in many churches, the glory of God is departing from some ministries and they don’t even recognize it (Ezekiel 10:4, 19, 11:23). The spirit of antichrist is going to get much stronger in these last days and some Christians and their churches may not be able to stand against it because their roots are attached to a false Christianity and not back to the Yahweh who started everything. Most of the Ten Commandments were meant to keep His people from worshipping the gods of their pagan neighbors (Exodus 20 verse 1-17).Here is the seventh part of my series titled “Christianity and Judaism” and “Division.”:
After the death of Yahshua His early followers consisted of Israelites who were no different than the other Israelite brethren but for the fact that they believed in the Messiah and His teachings. They no longer submitted themselves to the authority of the Pharisees but continued to go to the synagogue and the Temple. They were called the Natzrim. Over the centuries things changed so dramatically where we see two religions-Christianity and Judaism which both claim to worship the same Elohim but have little else in common. What we see as Judaism traces directly back to the Pharisee sect that Yahshua confronted. After the temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. the Pharisees reached an agreement with the Romans and they seized control of the faith. Judaism as we know it today is not what the Messiah taught but it is a religion developed by the Rabbis. They assumed control authority over interpreting the scriptures and over the people. Much of what they teach is not based on the Torah or the five books of Moses but upon Talmudic law which comprise their traditions. Neither Christianity nor Judaism accurately represent the early followers of Yahshua. The real followers of Yahshua were known as the Natzrim. They were not Christians as Christianity would not become an actual religion for hundreds of years. The Natzrim were the ones that the apostle Paul was out to kill.
Gentile converts became believers of Yahshua and flocked into the assembly of the Natzrim and brought their pagan customs. This overwhelmed the Natzrim and eventually assumed control over the faith. The religion of Christianity was actually created hundreds of years later and incorporated many of the pagan elements from their environment. There was no such religion as Christianity when Yahshua walked on the earth, nor did it exist during the lives of His apostles. The roman emperor Constantine established Christianity as the official state religion of the Roman Empire. Even though he claimed to convert to Christianity he was a Mithra worshipper until he died. He actually had a coin minted with himself on one side and the statement SOLI INVICTO COMITI (Committed to the invisible sun) with an image of the god Mithra. He had his wife and child murdered after his so-called conversion. A closer examination of early history reveals that the original faith was repackaged into a new religion which birthed the Roman Catholic Church and was littered with heresy from the very beginning. It turns out that the “conversion” of Constantine was a political tactic to save his declining empire. M. Turretin wrote in the 4th century that it was not that the pagans were converted to Christianity but that Christianity was converted to Paganism. Constantine incorporated his own blend of Mithraic sun god worship and performed many acts to strip the faith of any traces of Hebrew roots. He changed the day of worship from the Sabbath to Sun Day which was natural for the pagans who worshipped the sun god Mithra on Sun Day. One can certainly go to church on Sunday but the day can never take the place of the Sabbath which was written as the fourth commandment by the finger of Elohim Himself! So we see that this “Christianity” with all it’s many denominations has no resemblance to the assembly that received the outpouring of the Holy Ghost on the day of Pentecost.
These two groups, Christianity and Judaism, are so close yet, at the same time, they are so far apart, Judaism, in many respects, tries to exclude non-native Jews from their faith while Christians believe that they have, in essence, replaced the Jews. They are like a couple of children vying for the right of a firstborn. In many ways, this looks like a repeat of the sibling rivalry, jealousies, and, maneuvering that we read about all throughout the Scriptures. Each has something that is needed by the other and they both need to get cleaned up and get into the right standing before their Creator.
Division
Based on recorded history, most Jews have an underlining mistrust of Christians. One of the few Lithuanian rabbis who escaped the Holocaust told that there was not one Christian who helped the Jews in Slobodka when thousands were killed in the horrible deaths by the Nazis. Six million Jews were killed in the Holocaust and this was encouraged by the silence of the Christians in Europe, including the Pope in Rome. Paul spoke of the oneness between Jews and Christians in Eph. 2:11-12 that will happen but this will only happen when both shed their unscriptural customs and traditions and get renewed into One Nation. This does not involve Jews converting to Christianity nor Christians converting to Judaism. The Messiah has been obscured by layers of tradition and paganism. There is a barrier between them that started thousands of years ago when there was a wall of separation in the temple court which prohibited the Gentiles from passing under the penalty of death. This in essence kept them away from the Elohim of Israel.
In the defense of most Christians most would be shocked how the early church leaders treated the Jews. Martin Luther said that the “Jews were full of malice, greed, envy, hatred toward one another, pride, etc.” He also said that they were “the vilest whores and rogues under the Sun.” Although there were periods of reprieve and moderation, the general trend of the Catholic Church has been contempt and persecution of the Jews.
As it now exists, the “Church” has become a grouping of organized, Nicolaitan systems which have spent decades and sometimes centuries, as well as billions of dollars, building earthly kingdoms instead of the Kingdom of Heaven. Men have created artificial church governments, denominations, corporations and organizations which completely lack Spiritual support and are more effective at building, promoting and perpetuating their systems or the personalities of their figureheads than they are at making disciples of the Messiah. Believers in Yahshua have to realize the pagan origin of Constantine’s Christianity and remove any tradition that is unscriptural from their lives.
