ALEPH AND TAV

                                                                (BEGINNING AND THE END)

In this message I want to talk about the Aleph, the first letter of the Hebrew Alphabet and the Tav, the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet :

                            את

I want to focus on the fact that when you see the Aleph and Tav in a verse standing by itself, not being part of the translation, that it is Yahweh signing off on the verse as a blessing or judgment. Once he signs off on a scripture and you have given your flesh over to him to mortify the deeds of the flesh and want to be conformed to the image of Yahshua, then you can rest assured that these promises are final. We can then claim the blessing in that particular verse for ourselves. Every verse in the Word is important, but there are special verses that He signed off by putting His initials-the Aleph and Tav את.

Our journey begins with the apostle John proclaiming in four different verses in the book of Revelation, when translated from Aramaic into Greek, that Yahshua our Messiah is the Alpha and the Omega, and/or the Beginning and the End, and/or the First and the Last (Rev 1:8, 1:11, 1:17, 2:8, 21:6, 22:13). John had to have noticed that the Prophet Isaiah confirmed in Isaiah 41:4 his revelation that the Father was the First (Aleph/strength) and Yahshua was the Last (Tav/covenant). John was merely proclaiming Yahshua’s divinity as Creator and His association as Elohim in both his Gospel of John and the Book of Revelation. The Alpha and the Omega are the First and Last letters of the Greek alphabet. Consequently, in Aramaic, John would have been saying, Yahshua ha-Mashiach is the Aleph (א) and the Tav (ת). It begs the question, WHY would John make such prophetic and profound statements concerning the Aleph/Tav את Symbol if it was not of profound significance to believers in their day? Could John have been proclaiming that the Aleph and the Tav (first and the last) was actually the את Symbol used in Genesis 1:1 and consequently, throughout the Old Testament? I personally believe that if you look at the evidence and connect the dots of everything John states in his Gospel and in the book of Revelation, the answer to this question is YES! What John was trying to reveal, to those who had ears to hear, is from the beginning Yahshua was Elohim (His Word) and that the Father worked through Yahshua as ONE. Genesis 1:1, is in fact, where the first Aleph/Tav את Character Symbol appears, symbolizing both the Strength of the Covenant and Yahshua’s divinity. Confirmation of the Aleph/Tav את Symbols in Genesis 1:1 as being Yahshua was easily confirmed by the Apostle John in his opening comments of his gospel…In the beginning Was the Word, and the Word was With Elohim, and the Word Was Elohim. 2 The same was in the beginning WITH ELOHIM. 3 All things were made THROUGH HIM; and without Him was not any thing made that was made…14 And the word became flesh and tabernacled among us. Also in John 5:39 Yahshua said, You search the scriptures (Tanakh-Old Covenant) for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which TESTIFY OF ME!

There can be no doubt that the Aleph/Tav את Symbol in Hebrew text is the mark of Yahweh, His finger-print which proclaims His presence and His divinity. This mark is Yahweh’s signature of the covenant and He is the mediator of all the covenants from Sabbath at creation (Matt 12:8), to Yahshua’s sacrifical death (Heb 9:15). More substantiation of this is the powerful, prophetic verse in Zechariah 12:10 and they shall look to Me את whom they have pierced. Also Micah 5:1 And they will strike upon the cheek the את judge of Israel with a rod. These are but a few verses which I believe confirm Yahshua as the Aleph/Tav את Symbol and also the Messiah.

As I mentioned earlier, I want to focus on the fact that when you see the Aleph and Tav in a verse standing by itself, not being part of the translation, that it is Yahweh signing off on the verse as a blessing or judgment. We need to claim these scriptures with His signature as blessings to us that He has signed off on. Once he signs off on a scripture and you have given your flesh over to him to mortify the deeds of the flesh and want to be conformed to the image of Yahshua, then you can rest assured that these promises are final. The only person that can stop you from receiving these promises is you! We have to see why Yahweh has put His initials את on a particular verse and what is he trying to say to us.

There are over 600 times in the Old Testament where the Aleph and the Tav are standing alone. Here are some examples of the Aleph and Tav standing alone, in verses where they are not part of the translation:

Gen 1:1-In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

One of the reasons that Yahweh signed off on this verse is that He wants to let us know that He was there in the beginning and He will be in the end. Whatever trial that He has permitted to come into your life, He will end. Also, He is before everybody and everything, including the people that are coming against you! Claim this for yourself right now!

Gen 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

Gen 9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.

Gen 9:24-And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

In these verses we can see Yahweh’s blessings and judgment. Later on in the chapter He curses Ham and his descendants for what Ham did and blesses Shem and Japheth and their descendants. Ham and his descendants will also have to serve them! Yahweh is saying to us that He is no one to “fool around“ with. He can bless and curse. He stands for righteousness and wants us to do the same with His help!

Gen 13:11-Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.

In this verse, Yahweh signed off on the blessings that could come our way when He is able to separate somebody or something from our lives. In verse 14 after Lot was separated (because of strife) from Abraham Yahweh showed Abraham all the land that was his.

Gen 14:9-With Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and with Tidal king of nations, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar; four kings with five.

Gen 14:16-And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.

The armies of five kings came against Sodom and Gomorrah and conquered, taking Lot, Abraham’s nephew, his family and all his possessions. Yahweh signed off on these verses to show that He permitted this attack to get all the glory. The word says that Abraham only had 318 servants but with the help of Yahweh, defeated the massive armies and rescued not only Lot and his family, but the whole city. Yahweh’s signature on this verse means that we can claim Yahweh giving us our victory no matter how large the attack. Claim this for yourself!

Gen-17:8-And I will give unto thee and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Yahweh signed off on this verse to show that He can lead us to places where we have never been and to people we never knew to bless. Yahweh can bring everlasting life to people through us. He can also give us natural possessions and blessings where we have never been, which belonged to others. Yahweh gave His people land where they had never been before, great and goodly cities which they never built, etc. when He brought them into their promised land (Deut. 6:10).

Gen 17:25 And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.

Yahweh signed off on this verse to show the value of the number 13 in the word. Joshua and his people went around Jericho once a day for six days and seven times on the seventh day, for a total of 13 times! 13 is the number of deliverance and victory. Yahweh is saying by signing off on this verse with the Aleph and Tav that He can bring deliverance and victory to you!

Gen 18:19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

Yahweh signed off on this verse to show how He can bless us when we do our best to train up our children in His ways. He reveals His plan to Abraham about destroying Sodom and Gomorrah because of his obedience in his family and household. Yahweh can also bless us with more revelations when we obey Him with our families. Praise Him!

Gen 21:5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

It was 25 years after Yahweh promised Abraham that Isaac was born. Yahweh signed off on this verse to show you that no matter how long ago He promised something to you, He will do it, just as He said! This is why Yahweh signed off on this verse for us by His “initials” the Aleph and Tav.

As I mentioned earlier, Yahweh put His mark and signature on over 600 scriptures where the Aleph and the Tav stand alone. These scriptures must have a special meaning and as a result of Him finalizing the blessing to us in these verses, by Him signing off, we can claim these blessings in our lives. Just make sure you have given your flesh over to him to mortify the deeds of the flesh and want to be conformed to the image of Yahshua, then you can rest assured that these promises are final in your life!
